Located in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, on the Côte de Beauté, Chez Bob is a must-visit place to enjoy a friendly moment by the beach. Located on a legendary terrace, this establishment offers a brasserie, brunch, a tapas area, a fish restaurant and a rooftop with ocean views. The warm atmosphere and unique setting make it a popular meeting place for regulars and visitors alike.

A varied offer throughout the day

Starting in the morning, Chez Bob offers a gourmet brunch, where eggs Benedict sit alongside chocolate-banana pancakes and refreshing smoothies. The brasserie area then welcomes lovers of hearty cuisine with a menu inspired by local and international flavors. Tasty burgers, truffle pasta, homemade pizzas, and Tom Yum-style cod are among the menu's signature dishes.

In the afternoon, the shaded terrace invites you to relax, whether with a cocktail or a homemade dessert created by the establishment's pastry chef. In the evening, the atmosphere transforms with a tapas area offering sharing plates, accompanied by signature "By Bob" cocktails, such as the Cucumber or the Red By Bob.

      A rooftop with panoramic views

For an even more immersive experience, the rooftop offers a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Cordouan lighthouse. Ideal for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends, this space offers a refined menu, with seasonal products and a selection of wines and cocktails designed to accompany each dish.

A place to live and share

Beyond the restaurant scene, Chez Bob aims to be a true meeting place . Generations mingle in a relaxed atmosphere, whether it's lunch under the maritime pines, a sweet break on the terrace, or an evening livened up by DJ sets. Whether with family, friends, or as a couple, everyone can find the perfect time to enjoy the place.

Restaurant to avoid: very ordinary food, rude waiter, extremely noisy atmosphere. A restaurant that chases tourists by cramming customers in. Furthermore, the prices are far from affordable!

Zero. Very disappointing. For €96. 2 glasses of uby. 1 glass of Grave and a beer. Then moules marinière then main course. A dry sea bass with a slice of lemon cut from the day before and a so-called rib steak served cold. Then they brought it back to us reheated in the microwave. Disgusting. It's a disgrace. !!! I regret not having insisted I just advised a couple who arrived not to order the rib steak. Even a dog wouldn't have wanted it. ..... We didn't try the desserts it was risky! To finish no goodwill gesture to apologize just the waitress sorry but who doesn't give a damn like the boss certainly. Dirty glasses too. Never seen before! No class !!!! Dear tourists go to Arcachon to see establishments like the Bouchon. Fleur des Pins. Le Bistrot 50. and L Acacia. 4 good restaurants. Real restaurants !!! And great value for money. Not a SpongeBob scam!!! More than pathetic. Laetitia to the rescue!!!!!! Lol. I still can't believe I have no qualms about ripping off customers!!!!! Oh, I forgot, thanks to the restaurant owner's friends who left positive reviews, but that's not the reality at all.

Was here 8 years ago and it was lovely, now it’s get served and go! No smiles, hurried service, the bread was like bullets, asked to change it but not much better. Would not go back!
