    • L'ARROSOIR IN SAINT-PALAIS-SUR-MER, RESTAURANT FACING NAUZAN BEACH

An address between land and sea in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer

Located in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, in the Charente-Maritime region, at the foot of Nauzan beach and just a few minutes from Royan, L'Arrosoir is a restaurant that welcomes its guests in an environment open to the ocean. Since 2010, this establishment has been run by Alexandre Lavigne, a chef from a family of restaurateurs and a member of the Disciples of Escoffier.

Facing the sea, L'Arrosoir in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer offers cuisine inspired by the seasons and regional produce, in an elegant and convivial atmosphere. Its prime location, with an unobstructed view of the Bay of Nauzan, allows you to enjoy a pleasant moment in the dining room or on the terrace when the weather is fine.

The establishment welcomes couples, families, groups of friends as well as visitors who come to discover the Royan coast.

A bistronomic cuisine showcasing local produce

At L'Arrosoir restaurant, the cuisine is based on working with fresh, seasonal produce. From appetizers to desserts, Alexandre Lavigne and his team create a menu that evolves with the arrival of fresh ingredients and their inspiration.

Fish, seafood, vegetables, flavorful meats, and specialties from the Southwest naturally find their place on the plates. As a member of the Saveurs d'Ici association, the chef pays particular attention to regional producers and to showcasing the gastronomic riches of Charente-Maritime.

At lunchtime, a lighter, fresher menu is offered, while in the evening, more elaborate creations take center stage. Each dish reflects an approach that blends modernity, creativity, sincerity, and quality, with a constant focus on respecting the natural flavors of the ingredients.

A warm setting with a view of Nauzan beach

The L'Arrosoir restaurant in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer enjoys a sought-after location, directly on the seafront. Its outdoor terrace allows you to enjoy the panoramic views of the beach and the peaceful atmosphere of the coastline.

The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. The contemporary colors, comfortable spaces, and immediate proximity to the ocean all contribute to creating a pleasant setting for lunch or dinner.

This location also makes it a popular address after a walk on Nauzan beach or exploring the nearby seaside resorts.

A wine cellar with a wide selection of wines.

Among L'Arrosoir 's strengths, the wine list holds a prominent place. More than 120 French and international wines complement the dishes prepared by the chef.

The establishment notably offers wines from Domaine Grains d'Estuaire, the result of a collaboration between winemaker Julien Bonneau and Alexandre Lavigne. This selection allows guests to discover different terroirs and to pair the wines with the seasonal creations offered on the menu.

Open from Tuesday evening to Sunday midday, then every day in July and August except Monday midday, L'Arrosoir welcomes its visitors in a spirit of sharing and conviviality.

A superb location overlooking the promenade and Nauzan beach, with a very warm welcome. The outdoor terrace has well-spaced tables, which is very pleasant. The meal—starter, main course, and dessert—was beautifully presented, with refined flavors. The ravioli and fish were cooked to perfection, and all accompanied by delicate sauces. The strawberry emulsion with basil ice cream and small meringues was simply divine. A pleasant surprise.
