  A huge thank you for this unforgettable moment of sharing and discovery. Everything was perfect: the refined cuisine where we savored vegetables prepared with masterful skill. Without a doubt, the best asparagus and salsify we've ever eaten. Not to mention the perfect sweetbreads. As for the wine selection, it was simply sublime, and the suggested pairings delighted us. This restaurant truly deserves a Michelin star...

  We had lunch at La Roselière in Saujon, and unfortunately, this experience will remain one of the worst we've ever had in a fine-dining restaurant. We chose the five-course menu at €70 per person, with a bottle of wine, hoping for a refined and memorable experience. We left deeply disappointed, feeling like we had wasted our time and money. Apart from the artichoke dish, which was decent and relatively well-balanced, the rest of the meal was incoherent, heavy, or simply bland. The flavor combinations were often questionable, to the point where one wonders if the chef actually tastes his creations before serving them. The amuse-bouches were particularly disappointing: the celery one was completely lacking in skill and finesse. The potato variations were sickening, and the geranium gnocchi will remain a major culinary disappointment for us, as it was so bland and uninteresting. Even the bread was a disaster: extremely hard on the outside, very dense on the inside, almost suffocating. No choice was offered, which is regrettable for an establishment that claims to be fine dining. As for the walnut-based dessert, we left half of it because it was so unbalanced and unpleasant to eat. This perfectly sums up our overall impression: a lot of pretension for very little pleasure on the plate. We are, however, bon vivants, accustomed to fine dining restaurants and open to daring culinary experiences. But here, nothing really works. We now understand much better the numerous negative reviews we read afterward on the internet and social media. A huge disappointment. We will never return and strongly advise you to steer clear.

  If you're looking for elegance, refinement, originality, or even a touch of daring on your plate, you've definitely come to the right place. The welcome is both professional and warm. A cooking class with the young chef, a gift from my children, made me want to return with my family, and our son was thrilled with our choice for his birthday celebration. The dishes are delicate and flavorful, and the explanations clearly demonstrate the passion this young couple has for their craft. We congratulate and thank them for the delightful experience.
