    • WIND OLÉRON CLUB IN DOLUS-D'OLÉRON ON THE ÎLE D'OLÉRON – CHILDREN'S LEISURE AND WATER SPORTS

Children's activities between the beach and the ocean

Located in Dolus-d'Oléron, on the island of Oléron, the Wind Oléron Club offers children's leisure activities centered around the marine environment and water sports. Situated near La Perroche beach, the club provides an ideal setting for discovering the ocean from a very young age.

The activities are designed to allow children to progress gradually, between games, exploration and first sensations on the water.

A fun treasure hunt on the beach

The treasure hunt invites children to search for La Perroche's Treasure, accompanied by Captain Spinach. Between clues and obstacles left by the Black Pirate, the children explore the beach while developing their observation skills.

This activity provides a first approach to the coastline in a fun and accessible way.

An introduction to water sports from age 4

For children aged 4 to 7, the Wind Oléron Club offers a progressive introduction to water sports. Children alternate between observing the local flora and fauna, playing games, and their first sailing experiences.

      They can learn about:

      • catamaran sailing
      • the collective sailboat
      • windsurfing
      • the kayak

Wearing a life jacket is mandatory. It is not mandatory to know how to swim, but the child must be comfortable in the water.

A multi-slide training course to progress

The multi-sport course is aimed at children aged 7 to 15, beginners or experienced. It allows them to discover different water sports such as catamaran sailing, windsurfing, wing surfing or sailing a schooner.

When there is no wind, activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding take over. Two groups are offered: 7-10 years old and 11-15 years old, with a suitable skill level.

Activities are chosen according to weather conditions and in consultation with participants.
