  Review – Long-Term Resident (Winter Period) Very poor experience as a long-term resident during the winter at the Château estate. Maintenance of the common areas is practically nonexistent: garbage is not collected regularly and piles up in the parking lots, creating a deplorable image and posing serious hygiene problems. The laundry room has been out of service for some time, without any explanation or notification from the establishment. For long-term residents, this is simply unacceptable. Following the snowfall, no measures were taken to clear the common areas. The walkways and access points remained completely covered in snow and ice, making travel extremely dangerous for residents. No preventative measures, no salting, no intervention whatsoever. It is clear that off-season residents are being neglected. The lack of communication, maintenance, and consideration is unacceptable, especially when it comes to safety. I strongly advise against this property for any long-term rental during the winter period.

  The price-quality ratio is more than good. A few minor points of concern... Plus point: a good mattress. A must-do is a visit to Ile de Ré, which has beautiful beaches and beach bars.
