Phare de la Coubre Lighthouses in La Tremblade

Built in 1904 and commissioned in 1905, the Coubre lighthouse, 64m high and 300 steps, is a strategic beacon for all maritime traffic in this turbulent part of the ocean at the extreme north of the river. estuary of the Gironde.
During your visit, you will discover a magical panorama over the beaches of Tremblade, the surrounding forest, the Gironde estuary to the south, and the Ile de Ré; Oléron to the north.
A museum telling the story of the lighthouse as well as an exhibition hall and souvenir shop will complete your visit.

February-March and October-November: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
April-May-September: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
June-July-August: 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Closed in December and January.
