Built in 1904 and put into service in 1905, the Coubre lighthouse, 64m high and with 300 steps, is a strategic lighthouse for all maritime traffic in this busy part of the ocean at the far north of the Gironde estuary.
During your visit, you will discover a magical panorama of the beaches of La Tremblade, the surrounding forest, the Gironde estuary to the south, and the island of Oléron to the north.
