Phare du Bout du Monde Lighthouses in La Rochelle

Exact replica of the lighthouse at the end of the world of Patagonia in Tierra del Fuego, this octagonal wooden lighthouse is located off the port of Minimes in La Rochelle.
André Bronner, an adventurer from La Rochelle, decides in 1994 to rebuild the lighthouse at the end of the world in Patagonia. He then created in La Rochelle, the association of the lighthouse at the end of the world, to develop on the occasions of this reconstruction, cultural exchanges between France and Argentina.
While the Argentinian lighthouse returned to service in 1998, André Bronner had the idea of building a copy of the original lighthouse off La Rochelle. It was inaugurated in January 2000!
