  After visiting Bao Zi Bar several times, I consider it the best restaurant in La Rochelle. If you love good Asian food, you'll adore it. The dishes are truly exquisite, and the service is very pleasant, attentive, and efficient. As for the restaurant itself, I felt very comfortable there, almost like I was at home, whether it was busy or not. I also loved chatting with the manager, who was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this lovely place at least once to enjoy bao buns that will be a welcome change from the typical touristy fare in La Rochelle.

  I ordered food on Uber Eats for my children. I scheduled an order before opening, 20 minutes before the expected delivery time, and still hadn't heard anything because apparently no driver had come to pick up the order. It's not the restaurant's fault, so I called them to find out what my food would be like. A woman told me my food had been ready for 30 minutes… I said, "Okay, but it'll be cold when it's brought to me." She replied, "Yes, it will be a little cold." Okay… Almost an hour later, I called the restaurant again because the driver was supposed to pick up the order. I thought they had found a solution and that the customer experience would be respected, but I was told, "There's nothing I can do." The last time this happened to me, the restaurant placed a new order OUT OF RESPECT so that the customer would receive a hot, quality meal at home. I think that's the bare minimum. As a result, the food arrived cold and tasteless, even after being reheated, and my children and I didn't eat a thing. Extremely disappointed with the food, but even more so with the customer service.
