    • During the summer of 2001, the La Roche Courbon team, assisted by members of Amicour, set up a wooden games area such as those formerly existed at the King's Court (Dutch and Japanese billiards, etc.).

In 2002, all visitors were able to enjoy the old playground at will. In 2007, even more new games were added: Stick Game, Elastic Table, Bermuda Triangle. In 2015, two more games were added: Rebound Billiards and the Slide Table. In the well room and on the terrace in good weather, all of these games are open to children from the age of six, under the responsibility and supervision of their parents.

The Château de la Roche Courbon, nicknamed the Sleeping Beauty Castle, is a 15th-century fortified castle perched on a rocky spur. It was transformed into a pleasure residence in the 17th century by Marquis Jean-Louis de Courbon. Its formal French garden is truly magnificent. We had a wonderful time during our visit!

A very beautiful castle built in the 15th century, with a gigantic garden and terrace built over a marsh, pleasant in both summer and winter where you can wander for hours! The prehistory museum and the cave will delight children. The downsides: Don't bring your four-legged friends; they are forbidden in the castle, and even in the gardens! The reception staff are rather strict and unsympathetic, even cold. The building and grounds have not been renovated. Ticket price: €15 including a mini-tour. The upsides: The castle is well located and easy to find. Free and well-organized parking. Picnicking is possible in the vicinity of the property.
