  A pleasant and relaxing time spent at the Villa Royale in Angoulins with my mother on Saturday afternoon. The setting is calm and conducive to relaxation, allowing us to enjoy a lovely moment together. We appreciated the body scrub and the Californian massage, which were pleasant and relaxing. However, having already had treatments at other spas, we felt that the therapists sometimes lacked a bit of skill and experience in the movements and rhythm of the massage. We were also disappointed not to be able to use the jacuzzi. It's a shame that access to the jacuzzi, hammam, and sauna isn't included when a treatment is booked, or at least better explained beforehand when making the reservation. Finally, a few extra touches would have made the experience warmer and more upscale: offering tea or herbal infusions after the treatment, more smiles, gentleness, and more personalized attention. It's often these little details that make all the difference in a moment of well-being. An overall pleasant experience, but one that could be even more cozy and memorable with a few improvements.
