A very warm welcome, a very nice setting, good local homemade dishes, and very reasonable prices, highly recommended.

A great meal with family and friends, but the service was incredibly slow, with very limited choices. Two seconds of enjoyment followed by a three-hour wait. The mashed potatoes and risotto were also very small portions. The staff were pleasant, it's true, but they didn't bother to have a drink or chat. One item they offered was out of stock, and there was mold in the grated cheese. Otherwise, the beach is right next door.

So, there's quite a bit to say about this restaurant. First of all, when we were served, the dishes had bits of mold on them. The waiter was very slow, and the two women serving us weren't welcoming at all; they were just chatting instead of doing their jobs. Otherwise, the owner was pleasant but smelled of alcohol.

We were in Port Des Barques for a wedding, and were staying at this hotel with a few other wedding guests. We exited our room around 10.30am to walk around and have breakfast before the wedding...
