  Passing through La Rochelle for work (it's right next door), I stopped for lunch with three colleagues. Nice place (certainly less lively at lunchtime than in the evening). However, the tapas were excellent; I was pleasantly surprised. Usually, in tapas bars (except in the South of France), they're not the best, but here they were fantastic. And the portions were generous—we ordered a little extra to be safe, and we left feeling very full. All this was accompanied by an excellent homemade sangria (another very pleasant surprise). Special mention goes to the grilled calamari/prawn/chorizo ​​(super, super delicious, yum!). In short, I highly recommend it. I'll know where to go next time I'm in La Rochelle, and my colleagues were also delighted with the meal. All this for a very good price. If I nitpick a little, it was a bit long (even though there weren't many people there, arrived at 12:30 and left at 2:00 PM), but that's just nitpicking.
