Excellentissime restaurant où l on peut déguster des plats traditionnels, classiques ou innovants : escargots petits gris, chaudrée, souris d agneau, carpaccio de poissons et crevettes aux fruits de la passion... Rien que du délicieux. Le chef maîtrise parfaitement les cuissons : goût et texture sont uniques. L équipe est sympathique et saura vous conseiller. Le cadre en bord de Charente est reposant, tout comme l ambiance Le chef est un passionné qui sait vous parler de son métier. Ne partez pas sans avoir goûté son foie gras cuit au sel sur pain d épices maison...

Every Sunday there is a nice menu. What delicious dishes. An amuse aubergine tapenade with a block of poultry pate, Starter: duck liver on gingerbread, nice combination. Main course a Chaudree, pieces of salmon trout, merlu and sea bass, some vegetables, topped at the table with delicious fish soup. Class. The other main course is sea bass on a beautiful potato gratin, with lavander tones and pieces of merlu. For dessert a "Quadrology", a profiterole with sesame caramel cracker, lemon curd, strawberry bavarois with pieces of strawberry on a crumb bed with gingerbread flavor. Excellent Pouilly Fume. Pleasant service, peace and quiet. Highly recommended!!!

Welcome and friendly atmosphere, quiet and magnificent setting (we ate on the terrace overlooking the Charente and the royal fountain and enjoyed the sunset), refined and tasty dishes beautifully presented. ❤️ We highly recommend this restaurant!
