GAÉE Bar on the Old Port

In the heart of La Rochelle, with a breathtaking view of the Old Port, the bar of the GAÉE restaurant offers a wide selection of cocktails, mocktails, wines and spirits.

Whether you are comfortably seated around the counter or settled on the south-facing terrace, this warm space can be enjoyed according to your desires, from aperitifs to after-work drinks, to festive evenings.

At the helm: a team of passionate bartenders who refresh their signature cocktail menu each season, crafting their creations from local, homemade, and organic ingredients. Those who prefer non-alcoholic options are not forgotten, thanks to a selection of creative mocktails (and there's plenty to choose from!).

On the wine cellar side, generosity is also on display: wine and cognac collections sit alongside a wide selection of artisanal aperitifs, liqueurs, old alcohols and exceptional spirits.

And because a good drink is best enjoyed with company, the bar offers a tapas menu to match its cocktails: spreads from Conserverie Marthe, Marennes oysters, creamy burrata, Caesar salad, thyme focaccia, and other gourmet surprises. This offering is available every day from 2 pm to 10 pm, designed for sharing and conviviality.
