- Farol, Rochelaise cutlery factory since 1996
  A craft company deeply rooted in La Rochelle, all our knives are entirely made in our workshops. This quality work has allowed Farol to be labeled Living Heritage Company since 2013. 27 years after the start of the adventure, Farol knives are known throughout the world by sailors and present on the most beautiful tables. Since the first Cachalot model, other models have been developed as table knives. In any case, the object must be beautiful, practical and robust with materials that are pleasant to the touch for the handle and high-quality stainless steel for the blade.
  
  The workshop of La Pallice is the place of production of all our articles, an adjacent shop welcomes you there.

How wonderful it is to walk into the small factory that makes these beautiful knifes, that distributes all of France and on top of that able to meet the founder himself. A very humble man, a sailor that built his dreams and let's us in thru his knives. I only bought one of his knives but will be back to purchase another, he gracefully offered a little indenture on the back of the blade, that was done for free. I am so very pleased to leave La Rochelle with all these memories and what a gift to take back home. Only in France.... Hope this helps you guys and finds you well.

Good evening, I received my package a few days ago with an “Auction 10”. Superb packaging in the piece of sail, an unusual knife design resembling a whale, a perfect finish of the handle and the blade as well as a sharpness like no other. Congratulations to the whole team.

I experienced my first Auction knife via Hermione. An original look, whether it is the Auction or the Cachalot (I don't have another...), a blade as strong as it is shiny, an astonishing lightness, a beautiful tool that I am offering gladly
