Located in the city center of La Rochelle, a stone's throw from the Old Port and the shopping streets, Made by Me is a creative café that offers a place dedicated to artistic creation, conviviality and gourmet relaxation. In a warm atmosphere, the establishment invites visitors from all walks of life to settle down for a moment of manual creation  alone, with friends or family, around a coffee, a fresh juice or a homemade snack.

The concept is based on a simple idea: everyone can create, test, manipulate, imagine. No technical prerequisites are necessary to enjoy the experience. Here, the pleasure of doing things comes first over performance. Whether it's painting, drawing, cutting, gluing, personalizing an object or simply exploring a material, participants choose an activity freely and at their own pace. The materials are provided, ideas flow and exchanges take place naturally in a caring environment.

A wide atmosphere, a participatory spirit

The Made by Me space is designed as a workshop-café, where the pleasure of making combines with that of sharing. The furniture combines wood, soft colors and cozy nooks, creating an atmosphere conducive to concentration as well as discussion. The team accompanies each project discreetly, giving ideas, showing a gesture or suggesting a variation. You can come and spend an hour or an entire afternoon there, as you wish.

A gourmet and local offering, designed in-house

On the coffee side, Made by Me offers a short menu, made up of fresh products , homemade recipes and seasonal drinks . Flavored lattes, freshly squeezed juices, aperitif platters, cakes of the day, hummus or granola complete the creative experience. The offer adapts to the different times of the day and promotes local producers as much as possible. The atmosphere, both gentle and dynamic, is suitable for a solitary break as well as a shared snack.

Made by Me regularly welcomes groups, whether it's for a bachelorette party, a birthday, a company workshop or a moment with friends. Specific packages are offered for these occasions, with personalized activities, flexible supervision, and the possibility of privatizing all or part of the space. Located in the heart of La Rochelle, the café is an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding area. It is just a few minutes' walk from the shopping streets , the central market, and the city walls . Charruyer Park, the medieval towers, the aquarium , and the Natural History Museum offer plenty of opportunities for walks or bike rides.

Less than 10 kilometers away, L'Houmeau , Nieul-sur-Mer or Aytré invite you to discover the La Rochelle coastline, between discreet beaches, salt marshes and hiking trails. To the west, the island of Ré is accessible in a few minutes by bridge. The villages of Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, La Flotte or Ars-en-Ré allow you to stroll between farmers' markets, flowery alleys and bike rides. You will discover local products (salt, honey, wines, soap) and landscapes open to the ocean.

To the south, the seaside resort of Châtelaillon-Plage is known for its seaside promenade, its covered market and its thalassotherapy centre. Inland, the towns of Clavette, Saint-Rogatien and Périgny provide a link between town and countryside, crossing market gardening areas rich in small producers. The La Rochelle region thus offers a diversity of walks, meetings and local experiences , accessible without a car or by bike.
