The workshop operates on a simple principle: everyone chooses a piece of raw ceramic, then paints it using the materials provided. The object is then glazed and fired on site, before being collected a few days later. Behind this project is a designer from La Rochelle who returned to her hometown after several years of traveling. Driven by a desire to share and a strong taste for decorative arts, she imagined a place in her image: welcoming, relaxed, oriented towards handmade. The second-hand furniture, soft colors and exhibited objects give a warm atmosphere to the space.
