    • A culinary journey beneath the mythical arches of La Rochelle

Arco means "arche" in Spanish. An arch can also be a bridge, a point of connection that symbolizes a cultural link and an ode to the beautiful architecture of downtown La Rochelle.

From Rue du Minage, the arches continue in perspective from the exterior of the restaurant to our open kitchen. The restaurant's decor is imbued with history, travel, culture, color, and life —values we uphold as our standard in cooking. The experience is designed to be intimate, elegant, and welcoming, so you can feel right at home.

With a cuisine drawing on multiple influences —Latin, Asian, and French— Arco restaurant is a culinary journey, inviting guests to discover new products and flavors. And while the recipes may come from afar, the ingredients themselves are local, because we are committed to working with local, organic producers who respect the world we live in.

The entire team at Arco restaurant strives to make this a gateway to culinary exploration, offering bistronomic service at lunchtime and semi-gastronomic dining in the evening. And just like with food, discovery also comes through wine. That's why we offer you the opportunity to taste wines from around the world to complement your dishes, allowing your taste buds to travel through a complete gastronomic experience.

A hidden gem tucked away under the arcades of Rue du Minage. From the moment you step inside, you feel instantly at ease thanks to the warm welcome, the understated decor, and the contemporary furnishings that subtly reference various artistic touches! Then came the dishes. We had lunch with a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert. The experience was delightful, a perfect marriage of sight and taste, a blend of quality ingredients and culinary expertise! As an added bonus, my gluten allergy was taken into account with last-minute adjustments, including gluten-free bread. An extra star for the pastry chef who uses all her experience gained in prestigious establishments to create an original, delicious, and perfectly balanced dessert, respecting any dietary restrictions without a single misstep! Bravo!! Unbeatable value for money. Thank you to the entire ARCO team; we look forward to returning!
