The Buissonnière Cabin Oyster tasting in Chaillevette

Bruno and Manuel welcome visitors to their farm, on the banks of the Seudre River, in the small port of Chaillevette. Surrounded by salt marshes, their farms are ideally located to offer oysters with varied flavors, ranging from refined to salty. From August to November, production also highlights the famous Imperial Shrimp, raised in accordance with the natural rhythm of the marshes.

Tasting all summer long

All summer long, the Cabane Buissonnière offers friendly tastings in a typical Seudre setting. On Wednesday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes, visitors can enjoy seafood directly at the cabin, enjoying the charm of the port and the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding marshes. These moments of sharing highlight the freshness and quality of oyster products from local production.

On-site sales all year round

On-site sales are available year-round. Oyster lovers can purchase oysters and shrimp directly from the hut, depending on the season. This direct contact with the producers allows them to better understand the work involved in farming and refining, and also to leave with fresh products derived from artisanal know-how passed down with passion.

The family oyster hut houses an oyster bar where you can enjoy oysters, planchas and seafood tapas. Located in the heart of an authentic and traditional port, this space invites you to a moment of relaxation and indulgence. Here, time seems to stand still: everyone can appreciate the richness of marine flavors in a simple and warm atmosphere, in harmony with the surrounding nature.
